Varun Dhawan’s Marriage Postponed Due To CoronaVirus

We are just three months in 2020 and it seems like this year is going to be one of the toughest years in the history of mankind. With the ongoing Coronavirus hitting new numbers every hour, it looks like the world has slow down. It is not just the economy that has been affected but a lot of cultural and sports events have also been postponed.

The Coronavirus outbreak is hampering the social life in more ways than one. Taking of the film industry, not only the film releases are postponed and shoots are getting cancelled but celebrity weddings are also getting pushed. Like Varun and Natasha have pushed their summer wedding to November.

Varun and Natasha

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are to tie the knot this year. They know each other since childhood and make a wonderful and cute couple. The actor has his new project, Coolie No. 1 hitting theatres this Diwali. The movie was to be released in May 2020 and the marriage was planned to be just after that in Thailand. But due to Coronavirus outbreak everything has been postponed. With the postponement of the movie the wedding has also been pushed to November 2020.

Their wedding was also rumoured to take place in an international destination just like Deepveer and Virushka. Sources revealed that they fixed the place to be Thailand for May but now we don’t know if the place will change or not. But they definitely want a true blue Punjabi wedding. The couple’s destination wedding was to be attended by a selected few while the reception was to see the Bollywood fraternity in full swing.

Wedding Plan

Some sources say that the initial plan was to have an intimate wedding on a private island in Thailand, but it was scrapped in favour of a destination wedding in Jodhpur. They called that off too and were considering having a low-key ceremony in Mumbai. But because of the current scenario, they decided to tentatively push the Shaadi to November and have reverted to their original choice of destination – Thailand.

Varun went live on Instagram to interact with his fans. When questioned about his wedding plans, he said that, I am totally bored of answering frequent questions on when I plan to get married. It will happen when it has to. The wedding is not happening as of now and we are all in quarantine for now.

There are chances that the wedding could even postpone to next year, as the situation is tragic at the moment. The reason behind the decision goes to the fact that so far nothing can be predicted about this pandemic. But it feels like till November things will get a little better and people will be allowed to travel to other countries. So far in India, no major celebrity has been tested positive to coronavirus but the numbers of cases are increasing every hour.
