We liked the movie because of its lead actor Shahrukh Khan. He is a sure shot star of the movie. This was one of the strongest roles played by him in his entire career. He did an amazing job in delivering his role. Nawazuddin Siddiqui who played the role of a cop did an excellent work as his character needed a strong throw in the film.

Controversy And Competition With Kaabil

The first controversy was shooting at Ahmedabad. Also, an alleged gangster Mustak sent a legal notice asking why a film on his father’s life is being made.Raees was also targeted on the fact that it had a Pakistani actress Mahira Khan which created a lot of buzz.

Raees Vs Kaabil: These two movies clashed at the box office on Wednesday.Raees has an edge overKaabil in terms of screen count as it has 60% of screens. Due to the clash, Kaabil got less number of screens which has severely affected the film’s collection.

Raees was touted as the comeback of Shahrukh Khan into the action genre and was widely seen as the movie which would revive his sagging career and put him back on track in his race to the top with the other two Khans. Salman and Aamir have seen a string of hits which have taken them to heights of popularity and commercial success which is unprecedented in India. Shahrukh meanwhile has seen some average success in his last couple of ventures like Fan & Love You Zindagi.
