A 5 days trip to Leh Ladakh is enough to experience and admire the beauty of nature in abundance. Ladakh provides wide scope for trekking, biking, hiking and many more activities. The following package covers destinations like Delhi, Leh, Hemis, Pangong, Khardongla and Sham. The major attractions of this trip are the local markets of Leh, Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Shey Palace, Stok Palace Museum, Hemis Monastery, Thiksey, Sindhu Ghat, Pangong Lake, Gurudwara Pather Sahib, the confluence of Zanskar and Indus River and Magnetic Hill. It all together makes a beautiful trip between the valleys.
Day 1 – Arrival at Delhi to Leh
We arrive at Delhi Airport and proceed towards our pre-booked hotel. We may spend a relaxed day at the hotel. Then we can visit the local markets of Leh along with Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa after lunch. We can stay overnight at Leh.
Day 2 – Leh Local (104 km/ 5-6 hours)
Our second day of the tour will include visits in Monasteries. We can take a drive post breakfast to pay a visit to the Shey Palace, Stok Palace Museum, Hemis Monastery, Thiksey and Sindhu Ghat. In the evening we return to Leh and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at Leh.
Day 3 – Leh to Pangong Lake to Leh (distance – 280 km, duration – 10-11 hours)
We can leave for Pangong Lake post-breakfast early in the morning. We will cross the Changla Pass to reach Pangong. After lunch, we can enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of Pangong Lake. We must appreciate its high altitude and variations in colours. After this, we return to Leh for an overnight stay.
Day 4 – Leh to Khardungla to Sham Region to Leh (distance – 148 km, Duration – 6-7 hours)
After breakfast, we can visit Khardung La Pass, which is the world’s highest motorable road at 18380 feet. Then we return to Leh by afternoon and enjoy a hot lunch at the hotel. After lunch, we can visit Gurudwara Pather Sahib, Magnetic Hill and Sangam of Zanskar and Indus River.
Day 5 – Leh – Delhi (departure)
We leave for Leh Airport early morning to reach Delhi. Then we board a flight for the onward journey. We carry sweet memories of Ladakh to cherish throughout our life.
