1. Gulmarg:- Meadows of Flowers
Picturesque blossoms of bluebells and daisies, surrounded by scenic villages will make you feel ecstatic and leave a long-lasting impression. The best time to visit the place is during the summer season(March to mid-June). People planning to ski and fond of snowfall are recommended to visit the place between December to March. The flagship ride of Gulmarg called Gondola ride, the Asia’s longest and highest cable car jaunt is something a tourist should not miss out on. Gulmarg is 51Km from Srinagar and is suggested to be traveled by road to witness the miraculous landscapes.
2. Dal Lake:- House of Houseboats
A retreat from the scorching summer heat, where even during the summer the temperature ranges between 12-28 degrees celsius. This enchanting lake covering a range of 15Km is called Srinagar’s jewel. Dal Lake is located in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The major attraction of the lake is the phenomenally carved houseboats that are lined up on the shoreline. Houseboats are inspired by the Raj Era and the build-up is in the British style. Small boats are used as local commuters for school children, goods transportation, and travelers. Although, there are several decent hotels nearby, but most of the travelers prefer to book their temporary abode in the houseboat, the idea of atypical floating accommodation, and the spectacular view of the Pir Panjal mountains from the houseboat thrills them. During the winters the lake tends to freeze and the temperature drops to 1-11 degree celsius.
3. Buddha Amarnath Temple(Poonch)
Most of the people might have heard of the very famous Amarnath Yatra which is situated at a high altitude in Pahalgam. There is another longevous shrine which is 4600 feet above the sea level in the Poonch sector of Jammu. It is dedicated to Hindu deity Shiva. The shivalinga of the temple is bewildering and is made up of white stone. The linga does not have any specific shape to it. The shrine is surrounded by huge and old chinar trees, mountains, and valleys, making the place so much cooler and breezy. Amarnath Yatra is considered incomplete without visiting the holy shrine of Buddha Amarnath. It takes around 10 hours of traveling time from Jammu to reach the shrine by road.
4. Pahalgam, Mesmerizing panorama and the fresh spring water
On the way to Pahalgam from Srinagar, which consumes 2.5 hours by road is a journey that glides through the time. A window-side seat and an open rear window will make the journey worthwhile. There are several points that dispense natural spring water, which is consumable immediately. It tastes less like water and a lot closer to the elixir if enjoyed with the flowy gust of wind.
The most alluring locations of Pahalgam is covered by a horse ride. Each point covered in the ride is eleven on a scale of 1 to 10. The locations are:-

There is a halt in each location for clicking pictures, having a visual treat, and a quick snacking time from the stalls nearby. Last but not the least, one of the best sightseeing spot in Pahalgam, the Betaab valley.
It is 15Km away from Pahalgam and comes under the Ananthnag district. The amazing scenery is notable for clicking marvelous snapshots. The name of the valley is inspired by a Bollywood film named Betaab.
